I LOVE this book! It is full of monologues that are modest, challenging, yet age appropriate for young kids to older elementary school aged kids. I am a voice and musical theater director for youth performers and I use this book on a daily basis with my private students as they expand their acting range. They absolutely love the monologues provided in this book and the variety of different styles to choose from. My students continue to want more and more! I highly recommend this book to any teachers and families interested in introducing their children to the performing arts.

Meh. It's ok. The monologues are very basic. Skews on the very young side.
This book is excellent for Elementary students. I teach acting and musical theater and encourage my private elementary students to get this book. It’s got really sweet, funny and cute monologues. I love how light-hearted, kid friendly and age appropriate they are. It’s hard to find quality content for this age group, by this hits the nail on the head. I even let my students use these pieces for middle school auditions. There’s great picks for little ones and longer pieces for older students. You can’t go wrong here.
Whether your child is a budding thespian, or if he just likes to play 'pretend', this little gem of a book will become dog-eared quickly. My little sister has already used a couple of Tracey's monologues... with great success!
My daughter takes an acting class where they audition each semester for plays and this book has been great so far! She enjoys picking a monologue to perform. The monologues are perfect length for my daughters age.
